This fish fry trip was a plethora of firsts for our tour including the first live band!
Basically someone takes your order while you wait in line on an ipad
Then when you get to the cash registers, you just give them your name and they pull up your order. You pay (cash only) and get a number
And your food gets delivered to your table
Here is the menu:
We both ended up getting the MagnifiCOD platter, because according to the girl taking my order in line, that was the one thing that they actually hand bread (assuming the rest is frozen?) It was $8 and came with fries, hush puppies and cole slaw.
This was also our first fish fry that served hush puppies! What is a hush puppy anyway? It's like breaded bread deep fried? I've never really been a fan of them...its like just eating the breading off something....which actually sounds kinda good, but I don't know.. not a fan Rob, however is a hush puppy fan and said these were good hush puppies. The fish was ok, but lacked a little flavor. It could have definitely used some seasoning....but it was flaky...your standard fish fry fair.
They served frosty beverages but nothing too out of the ordinary.
Beers were $3 and Sodas were $2.
And also had a table for raffles and kids walking around with all kinds of desserts.
They didn't have a kids meal, which was kind of a bummer...so the kids both ended up with a slice of cheese pizza. They ditched their parents about halfway through to go check out what the cool kids were doing....and so it begins...
Another successful fish fry in the books!!
