During the day/ early in the night, you can pull up a seat next to the river for lunch or dinner and a couple of cold beers. Once it gets dark, the band sets up and there is wobbly dancing galore (the floor gets a little shaky, so people who get sea sick might want to steer clear of sitting too close to the water)
As for the food, it's ok....but you don't really come here for gourmet meals...it's definitely all about the atmosphere:
That being said, let's talk for a moment about the food.
EVERYONE at our table (except 1..) got the Cajun chicken sandwich with fries.
It was fine. Not bad, not great....but did I enjoy it while watching the sunset over the river and the boats pass?...you betcha.
Nick, the rebel of the group, ordered the shrimp skewers with what looks to be steamed veggies? I didnt try either, but he really enjoyed the shrimp, but could take or leave the veggies.... (I'm guessing they were way oversteamed...)
